BACK TO OUR TEAM

Theresa Olagunju is an articling student at Gerrand Rath Johnson LLP, where she is gaining experience in a broad range of practice areas including civil litigation, family law, employment and labour law, and municipal matters.

Before beginning her articles, Theresa practiced as a corporate and litigation lawyer in Nigeria, where she gained experience across diverse areas of law and represented clients in complex disputes. She also brings academic and international legal experience, having completed a Master of Laws degree at the University of Saskatchewan, where she served as a research and teaching assistant and received a Graduate Scholarship. She subsequently obtained her Certificate of Qualification from the Federation of Law Societies of Canada in 2024.

Theresa is committed to community service and has volunteered with Urban Alert; a non-governmental organization focused on promoting a clean environment. Outside of law, she enjoys travelling and sight-seeing.
