BACK TO OUR TEAM

Born in Northern Saskatchewan and a Regina resident since he was 10 years old, Bart holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Business Administration from Campion College at the University of Regina. He took a short time away from the city to obtain his Juris Doctor at Dalhousie University’s Schulich School of Law in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Returning to Regina in 2017 to article and practice, Bart joined Gerrand Rath Johnson in March of 2020. He brought with him experience gleaned from consistent appearances in front of the Provincial Court and Court of Queen’s Bench, as well as before a variety of administrative panels and negotiating tables. His practice works to implement leading-edge technologies in order to work primarily on the real issues facing his clients.

Mr. Soroka has served with many organizations, both in Regina and Halifax. He currently sits as the Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity Community Chair for the Saskatchewan Branch of the Canadian Bar Association and as a Director of the Regina Bar Association.

He is willing to work with clients to ensure that what may be the most difficult time in their lives—be it due to criminal charges, a family separation, the death of a loved one, or any matter of civil litigation issues—is made easier. He looks forward to hearing from you, and working with you.
