David attended the College of Law of the University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon, graduating in 1976. He returned to Regina and began his practice as a lawyer with the firm.
David has extensive experience in civil litigation, having conducted a large number of Queen's Bench trials of varying types and complexity. Experienced at the appellate levels, he has appeared many times before the Saskatchewan Court of Appeal and, on one occasion, before the Supreme Court of Canada. His clients include a variety of the major insurance companies in Saskatchewan.
David has lectured at Saskatchewan Legal Education Association and various insurance conferences on topics related to insurance law.
David is an active member of the Regina Family YMCA including service on the Board of Directors and as Chairman of the Camp Committee. David has also helped organized the annual YMCA Buffalothon Road Race in Regina for years.
David and his wife, Doris, have four children and 8 grandchildren.
